Billie Eilish and Charli XCX have been announced as musical guests on upcoming December episodes of the NBC sketch show Saturday Night Live.
On December 11, Eilish will appear on the show. Not only will she be performing as musical guest, but she will take on hosting duties, too. Charli XCX will sing on the December 18 installment of the show, which will be hosted by Paul Rudd.
Billie Eilish has been booked for several television appearances lately. Not only was a preview of her upcoming Sesame Street episode released last week, but she was interviewed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last month and performed her hit song "Happier Than Ever" on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon back in August. Additionally, her Disney+ concert movie, Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles, was released in September. After the holiday season, she will begin a huge 2022 world tour to support her new record.
Charli XCX is building career momentum as she promotes her upcoming studio album CRASH. The project will be released March 18, 2022, and will include Charli's recent singles "Good Ones" and "New Shapes." She also plans to embark on a North American and European tour next year.
As for this season of SNL, recent musical guests have included Taylor Swift, Brandi Carlile, Young Thug, Halsey, and Kacey Musgraves.
