From July 30, 2021 through August 7, 2022, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum will honor Martina McBride by hosting the Martina McBride: The Power of Her Voice exhibit.
According to a press release, “the exhibit encompasses the singer’s journey from performing in her family’s band as a child to becoming an award-winning country music artist with an enduring career delivering substantive and socially aware hit songs.” The Hall of Fame originally intended for the exhibit to open in 2020, but of course, it was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Postponing the exhibit opening last year due to the pandemic was a difficult decision, but the right one,” McBride said in a press release. "Having an exhibit in the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is something I’ve had on my dream list for a long, long time. Being able to share moments and mementos from my life and career with my fans and country music fans from all over the world is both humbling and exciting. I’m so grateful to be a part of country music."

On opening weekend, August 1, visitors can celebrate and learn about the new exhibition with @martinamcbride herself.

McBride also said that due to the postponement of the exhibit, it gave her more time to add personal touches. "[Postponing the exhibit did] allow us more time to plan and dig through my archive to find several truly special artifacts," McBride added.
Included among those artifacts are McBride's 1984 high school yearbook, songwriter Gretchen Peters' handwritten manuscript for the hit song “Independence Day," a letter from Dolly Parton to McBride, McBride’s Jenny Packham dress from the cover of her 2007 album Wake Up Laughing, a CMA Award, and an ACM Awards trophy.
During the opening weekend, McBride will appear for a conversation and performance at the CMA Theater on August 1. More details about the event, as well as the The Power of Her Voice exhibit, can be found on the Country Music Hall of Fame's website.
