Cheap Trick have released the first single from their newly announced upcoming album, In Another World.
Produced by the band’s longtime associate Julian Raymond, their 20th studio album is set for release on Apr. 9 via BMG. Ahead of the release of the 13-track LP, the band has unveiled the first single, “Light Up the Fire.”
"This band is held together by music," frontman Robin Zander said in a statement. "It's the super glue that keeps us writing and putting records out. The reason we started the band in the first place was to tour and write songs and put records out. If all that went away, there would be no point then, would there?"
In Another World will be available digitally and as a standard CD and vinyl. A blue and white spattered vinyl will be available at independent record stores and a limited-edition picture disc version will be available exclusively at Target. You can pre-order the album now.
