The new two-part documentary on Janet Jackson's life and career is set to premiere on A&E and Lifetime in early 2022.
The four-hour documentary, which has the working title JANET, will feature exclusive archival footage, never-before-seen home videos, and celebrity interviews. Jackson will also discuss some of the most talked-about moments of her life, including her controversial 2004 Super Bowl halftime show performance with Justin Timberlake and the passing of her brother Michael Jackson.
Ben Hirsh is directing the film, with Jackson and her brother Randy serving as executive producers. JANET is set to air across two nights in 2022 as part of the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the performer's self-titled 1982 album.
