The second leg of the After Hours Til Dawn Tour is approaching. One day after bringing the first leg of his After Hours Til Dawn Tour to a close (November 28), The Weeknd announced even more tour dates to come in the new year.
The second leg of the trek begins in June 2023 and will run through Europe and Latin America. Stops will include Stockholm, Dublin, London, Madrid, Munich, Rio de Janeiro, and more. The concerts support both The Weeknd's critically-acclaimed 2020 album After Hours as well as his fifth studio album, Dawn FM.
The Weeknd released Dawn FM back in January. It featured the songs "Out of Time," "Take My Breath," and "Less Than Zero" and included cameos from Tyler, the Creator, Lil Wayne, Quincy Jones, Oneohtrix Point Never, and the actor Jim Carrey. The album was withheld from consideration for the 2023 Grammy Awards, continuing a boycott that started in 2021 after After Hours was snubbed that year. Despite the boycott, The Weeknd won the 2022 Grammy Award for Best Melodic Rap Performance for his contributions to the Kanye West song “Hurricane.”
In other The Weeknd news, the artist brought an After Hours haunted house to Universal Studios during the Halloween season. Also, he and Swedish House Mafia took Kanye West's place as Coachella 2022 headliners, and his HBO show The Idol is set to premiere in 2023.
