A new mini-documentary offering a look at the Notorious B.I.G.’s debut is now available on Amazon Music's YouTube channel. The mini-doc marks the 25th anniversary of Biggie's debut album, Ready to Die, which was released on Sept. 13, 1994.
Running nine minutes, The Birth of Biggie: 25 Years of Ready to Die includes interviews with those that worked with the late rapper as well as archival audio, video, and photos featuring Biggie himself. Biographer Cheo Hodari Coker, album producers Easy Mo Bee and DJ Mister Cee, and former SVP of Promotions for Arista/Bad Boy Rob Stone all contributed to the mini-doc.
