Eminem has opened up the "shady vault" and released a music video for "Crack A Bottle," his 2009 hit featuring Dr. Dre and 50 Cent.
The release comes just before Eminem is set to drop his Curtain Call 2 greatest hits collection this week. “Unlocked from the Shady vault - unreleased #CrackaBottle music video!” Eminem wrote on Instagram yesterday (August 1) with a teaser clip of the visual.
The music video features an unhoused woman holding onto a bottle of alcohol that eventually opens up to reveal an ominous series of rooms: a cell-like room, tattoo parlor, and club. Eminem, Dr. Dre, nor 50 Cent make an appearance in the video.
"Crack A Bottle" was the first single released from Eminem’s sixth studio album Relapse. At the time of its release, it peaked at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #4 in the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart.
Eminem will drop Curtain Call 2 on Friday (August 5). It’s unclear if "Crack A Bottle" will be featured on the release. No official tracklist has been shared yet. In other Eminem news, the rapper recently shared a collaboration with Snoop Dogg called "From the D 2 the LBC."
