After a string of pandemic-related cancellations and postponements, Coachella is finally back.
The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival will be happening next year for its first edition since 2019. The popular festival will run on the weekends of April 15-17 and 22-24. A lineup has yet to be announced.
Coachella is the latest major music festival to announce dates after the pandemic shuttered large-scale gatherings. Governors Ball is set to happen in September, Lollapalooza is getting ready for a July start, and Rolling Loud, Bonnaroo, and Austin City Limits have announced lineups.
After Coachella's April 2020 festival was postponed to October of that year, it was canceled out of concern the thousands of attendees would further spread COVID-19. It was also scheduled for April 2021 before getting canceled again.
Advance ticket sales for the 2022 festival start June 4 at 10am PT. Interested attendees can register for the advance sale on Coachella's website.
