Historic music moments captured on The Ed Sullivan Show will now live on the show's YouTube channel.
The show, which ran between 1948 and 1971, captured performances and appearances by Stevie Wonder, The Rolling Stones, The Doors, Richard Pryor, Carol Burnett, and many more. Now, these performances and appearances will be officially available on YouTube due to a deal made between UMe and SOFA Entertainment, Inc.
The channel's first round of uploads include performances by Marvin Gaye, The Supremes, The Beach Boys, Neil Diamond, The Temptations, and Gladys Knight & The Pips.
Over the next three years, thousands of high-resolution videos will be added to the channel.
