Live365 Announces 'The BIPOC Spotlights'

Live365 has launched our new station feature series: “The BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) Spotlights.” The goal of The BIPOC Spotlights is to amplify the voices of our BIPOC broadcasters to ensure their stories are heard. We would like to invite all Black-owned stations as well as all BIPOC broadcasters to share their stories and submit to be part of The BIPOC Spotlights here.

Additionally, we wanted to follow up with updates on some more action steps we are taking going forward.

  • We have internally launched our #NoPersonLeftBehind initiative that will lead us in ensuring diversity, equity, and inclusion are embedded into our company culture.
  • We are working on some blog series to empower broadcasters to do the necessary anti-racism work and to amplify the voices of the Black community.
  • As a company, we have set Juneteenth (June 19) as an official U.S. holiday. We will also be donating all of the advertising revenue Live365 earns on June 19 to the Black Lives Matter Global Network.

Moving forward, we will be sure to provide more regular updates on what we’re doing to support our Black community as well as all minority groups. We encourage you to join us in showing up for the Black community. You can find our anti-racism resource list with just some educational resources as well as resources for donating and signing petitions here.
