Panic! At The Disco Release New Song ‘Viva Las Vengeance’ and Announce Album & Tour Plans

It's been a good year for punk-rock/emo music, and now another early 2000s act has shared upcoming music plans. Panic! At The Disco has just released the title track of their upcoming seventh studio album Viva Las Vengeance. They have also announced a future tour.

Starting with the released track, it's the first new music the band has shared since the 2018 release of Pray For The Wicked. The catchy song is also accompanied by a music video, directed by frequent Panic! collaborator Brendan Walter (“High Hopes”).

As for the album – which is set for release August 19 via Fueled by Ramen/DCD2 Records – the band shared in a statement that Viva Las Vengeance is a “cinematic musical journey about the fine line between taking advantage of your youth, seizing the day and burning out.” With the help of friends and collaborators Jake Sinclair and Mike Viola, frontman Brendon Urie recorded the 12-track album in Los Angeles using a tape machine.

In addition to the new music news, the band has also announced the Viva Las Vengeance Tour, a North American and European arena trek that kicks off September 8 in Austin, TX. Special guests include Marina and Jake Wesley Rogers with Beach Bunny joining on select dates in North America.

Tickets for the North American dates will be available to the general public starting Wednesday, June 8 at 10am local time. Tickets for the European shows go on sale to the general public on Friday, June 10 at 10am local. Tickets will also be available through pre-sale, and you can find that information here. One dollar from each ticket sold in North America (one euro/one GBP in Europe and the U.K.) will go to the band’s Highest Hopes Foundation.
