Earlier this week, Dick Clark Productions and NBC announced that Janet Jackson is set to receive the Billboard Icon Award at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards ceremony on May 20 in Las Vegas. Jackson will also be performing live for the first time in nine years during the ceremony.
