Pink Floyd are set to release a 16-disc box set this November that features the David Gilmour-led band’s studio and live albums, concert films, unreleased rarities, live performances, and more.
Entitled The Later Years and out Nov. 29, the box set will only contain material following the departure of Roger Waters. Three studio albums will be included, 1987’s A Momentary Lapse of Reason, 1994’s The Division Bell, and 2014’s The Endless River, as well as two live albums, 1988’s Delicate Sound of Thunder and 1995’s Pulse. Aside from the 5 CDs, 6 Blu-rays and 5 DVDs will be included.
A Momentary Lapse of Reason has been updated with lost keyboard tracks by late Floyd member Richard Wright and new drum tracks from Nick Mason. The set also contains 13 hours of unreleased material, including studio and live recordings, as well as various video footage. Some of the videos included are unreleased concert films of the band’s 1989 Venice and 1990 Knebworth performances, the band’s last live performance in 2007, a film documenting the making of The Endless River, and Pink Floyd’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction performance with Billy Corgan.
In addition to the discs, the set will contain two exclusive 7" vinyl singles, a 60-page hardcover photo book, a lyrics book, and replica memorabilia, including tour programs, tour passes, stickers, and posters.
