Due to “highly specialized production elements being delayed,” the first two dates, both taking place at the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House in Brooklyn, of Madonna's Madame X Tour have been delayed.
The originally scheduled Sept. 12 and 14 dates will now take place Oct. 10 and 12 respectively. In addition to these changes, the Sept. 15 show at BAM has been cancelled and refunds are being automatically issued to ticket holders. All tickets for the originally scheduled Sept. 12 and 14 dates will be honored at the new dates.
“Madame X is a perfectionist and wants to give you the most unique, magical, and musical experience,” Madonna said in a statement. “She underestimated the amount of time it would take to bring this kind of intimate theatrical experience to you and wants it to be perfect!!! Thank you so much for your understanding.”
Aside from Madonna's BAM run, she will perform residencies in Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Boston, Philadelphia, Miami, Lisbon, London, and Paris for this tour.
