Two soothing indie singers collaborated during a concert in Milan, Italy on July 5. Phoebe Bridgers joined Clairo on stage to perform her hit 2019 single “Bags.”
Both Bridgers and Clairo shared the bill that evening as the show was a crossover date of Clairo's Sling Tour and Bridgers' European festival dates.
Over two minutes into the performance of "Bags" – which is a track off Clairo's debut LP Immunity – Bridgers excitedly appeared on stage, picked up a microphone, and helped Clairo finish the rest of the tune. "C'mon, Phoebe!" Clairo happily shouted after they sang together.
Bridgers' contribution was small, as she simply harmonized with Clairo during "Bags'" final chorus before a saxophone solo concluded the song. However, her presence on stage made the audience go wild.
It isn't the first time Bridgers and Clairo have worked together in some capacity. Both artists provided guest vocals for the studio version of Lorde's track "Solar Power." Additionally, both Bridgers and Clairo made appearances at this year's star-studded Glastonbury Festival.
