Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band's longtime saxophonist Clarence Clemons is the subject of a new documentary that will be released this summer in select theaters and on digital platforms.
Entitled Clarence Clemons: Who Do I Think I Am?, the documentary will showcase Clemons' 40-year career with Springsteen until his death in 2011. The feature, directed by friend and filmmaker Nick Mead, will also document the “transcendent awakening” the celebrated musician experienced in Northeast China before his death.
The film will feature interviews from Bill Clinton, Nils Lofgren, Joe Walsh, and Jake Clemons, his nephew and current member of the E Street Band.
Clarence Clemons: Who Do I Think I Am? will be released in select theaters across the country in July and will head to digital platforms on Aug. 17 via Virgil Films & Entertainment.
