World College Radio Day 2021 is set for Friday, October 1, 2021, marking the 11th annual celebration of the unique medium of college radio.
For the third year in a row, the World College Radio Day 24-Hour Global Marathon will be exclusively streaming on Live365, with 24 college radio stations in 24 countries set for the marathon. Over 600 radio stations in 40 countries around the world will be participating in the overall event this year.
Originally founded as College Radio Day by Dr. Rob Quicke, the goal of World College Radio Day is to harness the combined listenership of hundreds of thousands of college radio listeners throughout the world, celebrate the important contribution of college radio, and encourage listeners to seek college radio.

This year, the theme is "In Tough Times, We Thrive," taking into account the global efforts made by college radio stations around the world to find inventive ways to keep broadcasting during the pandemic with creative content not heard anywhere else. "Weird Al" Yankovic will serve as the Ambassador for World College Radio Day 2021.
