Mike Love of The Beach Boys will be releasing a Christmas album entitled Reason for the Season. The album is set to be released on Oct. 26 and will include both long-time holiday favorites as well as some new Christmas-themed songs.
Some of the holiday favorites include "Jingle Bell Rock," "O Holy Night," and The Beach Boys' "Little St. Nick." The only featured artist on the album will be Hanson on "Finally It's Christmas."
Regarding the new holiday music, Love said, “Music is something that always brought my family together, especially around Christmastime.” “What is so special about this collection of songs is that they both harken back to the wonder of childhood and family, but also feel very relevant and exciting for a new season of listening."
The Beach Boys will also be touring the U.S. all winter-long starting on Nov. 16. See the band's website for all of the tour dates and info.
