This week's ShaqFu Radio featured artist is 2 Chainz!
2 Chainz is an American rapper, songwriter, television personality, activist, and actor. 2 Chainz began his career in the music industry in 1997 as one-half of the Southern hip-hop duo Playaz Circle. At the time, he adopted the rap name "Tity Boi." In February 2012, he signed a solo record deal with Def Jam Recordings shortly after changing his rap name to 2 Chainz. 2 Chainz has released 4 studio albums, has numerous platinum singles, and has several Grammy nominations.
Shaq and 2 Chainz haven't really interacted publicly much, but they often attend the same events. For example, in 2014, Shaq and 2 Chainz both attented Dwyane Wade's birthday party. Another small connection is that Shaq's $250,000 car was featured on GQ's YouTube series Most Expensivest with 2 Chainz. See the clip below.
